In Chicago's northwest suburbs, Comix Revolution carries the widest selection of new comics and graphic novels. Having served the Mt. Prospect community since July 1996, the first Comix Revolution location recently moved from its original locale at the Randhurst Shopping Mall to its new home in the heart of downtown Mt. Prospect.
More of a pop culture store than our new Evanston location, Comix Revolution Mt. Prospect stocks over dozens of different t-shirts. From standard superhero logo t-shirts to hip, current trend pop culture icons, Comix Revolution has always been first on supporting new trends.
The Mt. Prospect store prides itself in fitting a diverse comic selection into a well-merchandised shop. All the titles you'd expect to find published from Marvel, DC, Image, and Dark Horse, but also a complete selection of manga comics from Viz, Del Rey, Tokyo Pop, and DMP, as well as alternative press comics from Slave Labor, Fantagraphics, Oni Press, Top Shelf, and Drawn & Quarterly.
While stocking a modest selection of back issues, nearly all are priced at a mere dollar! Trying to convert the youngsters into comic fans, we also have an extensive young readers section filled with titles appropriate for all ages.
Besides the comics, t-shirts, graphic novels, and back issues, the Mt. Prospect Comix Revolution also stocks a wide variety of Anime merchandise, current action figures, posters, and comic supplies.
